Increasing Your Presence as a Photographer

Cultivating an audience for your photography in today’s fast paced world can often require a skill set that ventures well beyond the scope of photography, itself. There are a number of new and different strategies and opportunities, together with some tried and true techniques that you may not have previously considered, which can collectively help you to increase your overall presence, your public visibility, and ultimately, your overall success as a photographer.

During this one-day workshop we will explore, through discussion, demonstration, and print review sessions, techniques for developing a more personalized photographic vision, together with the ins-and-outs of gallery representation, marketing your work through the world wide web, and the importance of effective editing of your work. And time permitting, we’ll even touch upon the importance of developing some basic speaking and writing skills.

The purpose of this workshop will be to give participants an “inspirational overview” of a number of effective strategies which, if practiced, can go a long way toward helping to expand your overall public presence as a photographer.
